The MCX A25 devices are scalable microcontrollers in the MCX A Series designed for PC accessories and motor control applications.
Designed to accelerate development of USB-enabled applications embedded control systems, MCX A25 integrates a 180 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core, full-speed USB, I3C, FlexIO and SmartDMA to support high-performance processing and flexible system design. For motor control applications, dual FlexPWM modules, embedded OpAmps support and up to two 16-bit ADCs help enable precise motor control and responsive real-time operation, while memory options up to 1 MB Flash and 256 kB RAM support scalable embedded designs.
EdgeLock® Accelerator PKC, secure key store and secure installer support platform integrity and secure manufacturing, and the MCUXpresso Developer Experience provides software tools, application examples and expansion resources to support development, including the Expansion Board Hub (EBH) for add-on boards and the Application Code Hub (ACH) for software examples, with evaluation available through the FRDM-MCXA266 development boards to simplify prototyping and feature exploration.
