The MCX A35 family of mixed-signal MCUs, including the MCX A355 and A356, is designed for high-performance motor control applications. These devices feature an integrated Motor Control Accelerator Unit (MAU), 2x FlexPWM modules with 4x submodules combined with AOI for advanced signal generation, and 4x ADCs for precise sensing and feedback. They also include SmartDMA for efficient, low-latency data transfers without CPU overhead, along with rich serial peripherals for connectivity.
The MCX A355 and A356 support speeds of up to 240 MHz, with up to 1 MB of Flash and 256 kB of RAM, enabling demanding real-time control tasks. Supported by the MCUXpresso Developer Experience to simplify development and accelerate time to market.
